Waiting...

Waiting upon the Lord isn't easy, but I love this song by John Waller. Here's the link to view the video and hear the song.

I'm Back, Blessed, and Thankful

If anyone still checks this blog, I'm back. Ha. Sorry it's been so long, but I needed a break from blogging. But, hopefully I will be in and out to update on things and family photos once in a while. This time of year, I feel so blessed and so thankful.
Here's a pic of Doug and the boys; they are such a blessing to me!

Here's a pic of my Mom and the boys. We had a visit on their farm
to see the beauty of fall before winter arrived and visit with them
and boy was it beautiful and a blessing to be with my sweet parents.

Here's my Dad and the boys on the Twister right before we headed out
onto the back of their gorgeous farm. I could see God everywhere I looked!

In Hebrews 12:28 it says Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverance and awe, for our God is "a consuming fire". In "The Message" version of the bible it talks just like we do and interprets that verse like this; Do you see what we've got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not and indifferent bystander. He's actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won't quit until it's all cleaned. God himself is Fire!
I am so thankful for the many earthly things that my God has given me, but most of all,
I am so thankful to have a Father that has prepared a place for me in Heaven.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
